ABOUT LINDSEY
Born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, I received a BSc in Social Work from Plymouth State University, Plymouth. NH, in 2010 and an M.A. in Social Work from Middlesex University, London UK in 2015.
I have over ten years of social work experience working with children and families in clinical and non-clinical settings. I integrate these skills and knowledge with my intuition into each tarot and energy work session. My approach to our work together is curious, warm, and engaging. I hope to provide a non-judgmental mirror and gentle guidance, if necessary!
Our bodies hold innate wisdom and healing abilities. (Sources here!) When we still our body for a prolonged period we activate the para-sympathetic nervous system, which enables us to feel calm, curious, courageous and collaborative. My intention is to create space to allow this process to flow naturally.
I am fully insured and hold a membership with the National Association of Social Workers. Although I am not licensed under any professional governing body, I adhere to all ethical standards and principles outlined by NASW, and I am passionate and committed to lifelong learning and professional development. When I am “out of office” I love to spend time with my family in nature, study astrology and take lots of side quests.
My approach to our work together is humanistic, which means I meet you “right where you are”, with unconditional positive regard. I am trained in different psychodynamic, experiential and behavioral modalities and I integrate these into our work together, depending on your presenting needs.
